WE ARE a small and cosy, dog friendly micro bar SITUATED in the beautiful town of Sedbergh.
SITTING ON THE WESTERN EDGE OF THE YORKSHIRE DALES AND A SHORT DRIVE AWAY FROM THE STUNNING LAKE DISTRICT, WE ARE IN THE PERFECT SPOT FOR A BIT OF RAMBLING.
WE OPERATE A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE SEATING POLICY SO NO BOOKING IS REQUIRED
OPENING TIMES:
MON - WEDS: CLOSED
THUR: 5PM - 10PM
FRI: 4PM - 11PM
SAT: 4PM - 11PM
SUN: 3PM - 8PM
(PLEASE NOTE THAT LAST ORDERS ARE 30 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING)
well behaved dogs are very welcome but ON THE FLOOR OR ON THE BEDS PROVIDED, NOT ON THE FURNITURE or laps PLEASE. as the bar is small, PLEASE KEEP THEM on a lead and under control during your visit.

house rules:

come in and sit where you like but please don’t be offended if someone you don’t know comes and sits on a spare SEAT next to you - This is how we had always envisaged our bar to be.

We are allowing some standing drinkers but ask that you don’t overcrowd the bar area to allow us to move around easily and for others to have room to order.

We are only small so please bear this in mind and keep your language and behaviour bar friendly

If WE ARE busy, we would really appreciate YOU BRINGING your empty glasses back to the bar when reordering

cumbria, yorkshire and lancashire.
aLONGSIDE A GREAT range OF bottled AND canned BEERS, WE SERVE hand pulled REAL ales AND KEG BEERS WHICH CAN CHANGE FROM WEEK TO WEEK - ONCE A BEER RUNS OUT, ANOTHER TAKES IT'S PLACE.
THIS ALLOWS US TO MIX THINGS UP AND BRING SOME BRAND NEW BEERS TO THE BAR ON A REGULAR BASIS.
BEING A SMALL BUSINESS OURSELVES, WE LOVE TO SUPPORT OTHER SMALL BUSINESSES.
WE STOCK A SELECTION OF HANDPICKED FINE WINES, A DELICIOUS YORKSHIRE CRAFT CIDER BY THE BOTTLE, SOME SMALL BATCH & CLASSIC GINS AND OTHER SPIRITS
We’ve launched a very special collab with
who are A fantastic small batch craft gin maker from Inglewhite in Lancashire.
We threw a massive curve ball at Lizzie by suggesting that we’d like to use Yuzu - we like to be a little bit different! But she didn’t disappoint and after spending some time at the distillery with Lizzie for our initial recipe development day, THE GINTREPID RAMBLER was born. It’s smooth, sessionable and very quaffable so we hope you like it as much as we do!
It’s available to drink by the glass in the bar or can be purchased by the bottle alongside our very own branded glasses to enjoy elsewhere.
